Bands were cranked up on three stages Mardi Gras morning
and early afternoon in downtown Eunice. J.C. Carriere and Hot Step were on Walnut Street
Stage, JoJo Reed and the Happy Hill Zydeco Band were on the stage next to Highway 190,
and, after a performance by Don Fontenot and les Amies de la Louisiane, Paul Daigle and
Cajun Gold were on the main stage. Meanwhile,
visitors were stopping by City Hall for a slice of one of the world's largest king cakes. |
